Welcome to MPA

MPA’s vision statement is “Make disciples who will make disciples“. It’s based on the great commission which Jesus Christ gave to his disciples in Matthew 28:19-20.

So according to our vision statement we focus on three areas mainly as a church.

1. Worship – Service to God

We believe that Worship is an important part in the life of a Christian. At MPA we focus on the kind of worship about which Jesus said in John 4:24 i.e worship in truth and spirit. But we don’t stop there. We don’t say that worship is only the time when you sing songs during a church service. We encourage people a lead a life of worship to God i.e. a continuous service to our God. Sacrifice was an important part in Old Testament times. As Paul says in Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.” So we focus on Worship as a Service to God.

2. Discipleship – Service to Members

At MPA, discipleship will be a term which you will hear again and again. Our vision statement also focus on that. We believe that Christian life doesn’t end at that point where you put your faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that its just the start. At MPA, “We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ” (Col.1:28). So we focus “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Eph. 4:12-13)

3.Evangelism – Service to World

At MPA, we take the great commission of Jesus Christ seriously and encourage people to be a witness of Jesus Christ. For this purpose we do activities and encourage people on a regular basis to be involved in activities which are evangelistic in nature.
